Windows 10: Problems trying to turn off password login

I bought a new PC with Windows 11 Pro. I'm trying to turn off the need for a password when I power on. I found info that said under Settings>Accounts> Sign in Options scroll down to Additional Settings and there would be an option to turn off “For improved security, only allow Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device”. Then I could do the netplwiz part where you click on the user and clear the “User must enter a user name and password to use this computer” option.. The only problem is that there is no way to turn off “For improved security, only allow Windows Hello

MW2 Problem

I think the game is booting, then Steam is trying to boot, but is hanging during the login process, hell it may be sitting there wait for you to enter your password.

Try this, turn Steam On and log in. Click on the game listed in the "My Games" tab to start MW2 and see if the problem continues. If that does not work, you have 2 other suggestions above.

 

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

 

No login password craziness

Brink, that was the missing step. What threw me off was in netplwiz, where it asks about password for my MS account, the user name was not the same as my MS account name. Once I entered the password (twice) I can now login without entering a password. In fact the name that was listed was not the MS account name, but a folder name. The folder is the one that shows when you click on C:\Users.
