Windows 10: Problems Windows 10 projecting my laptop to my Smart TV

When I project my laptop to my smart TV, I always use "duplicate". My problem is that when I project, the screen on my laptop goes black. I want to project my computer to my Smart TV ...and...at the same time continue to view the same image on my laptop. What should I do to correct this situation?

What is the model number of your Samsung Smart TV?

In order for you to project your laptop's screen to your TV, your laptop and Smart TV must be connected to each other on the same network.

Set your PC's output resolution so it matches a resolution supported by the TV and when you connect your TV to the laptop, set the laptop's video card to one of the standard resolutions. The TV will automatically adjust to the resolution you choose. Note
that the optimal and recommended resolution is 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz. Refer to the user manual of your graphics card for compatible resolutions.

Follow the below methods and check if this helps.

Method 2: Remove and Re-Add The TV.

Projecting to Samsung Smart TV

I am having trouble when projecting from my Lenovo laptop to my Samsung Smart TV in Windows 10. I'm able to connect to the tv and extend my screen. I drag over the chrome window and start the video. About 10-15 minutes in, it disconnects.

1. The tv has been updated with the latest software (it's actually on auto updates)
2. The laptop is on the latest software
3. The laptop is set to go to sleep after 2hrs on battery, Never when plugged in and the pc should not disconnect from network when on battery
4. The laptop is connected to the router via power outlet so it's a hard line connection essentially. It doesn't seem to disconnect from the network when it disconnects from the TV. It shows that it's disconnecting with a notice on the tv and then goes back
   to Directv.
5. The laptop is about 9 feet from the tv and is a straight shot. It's not being moved when it disconnects.
6. I have reviewed the Samsung setup and haven't found anything that jumped out at me

Projecting to Smart TV - Audio works but no Video

Hello,

Laptop details: Windows 10 pro 64 bit

TV details: Sony Bravia KDL 48W700C Smart TV

The video doesn't appear on the TV. However, the sound is audible.

I am connecting through Action Centre > Project > Connect to a wireless display > clicking on my TV from the list.

Screen mirroring works with my S6 & the TV seamlessly. Please advise, what am I missing when trying to connect the laptop?
