Windows 10: Problems with 24H2 Updates - MUST Run Programs as Administrator to Start!

I have had 2 different updates of 24H2 now in the last few weeks -- and after both of them, I must choose "Run as Administrator" with most not all of my programs to get them to start.WHY is this happening? This seems like a really dumb thing to have happen TWICE now with updates. I'd say this is happening with about 70-80% of my programs and it is REALLY annoying. It even affects Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2021 programs; I have to keep repairing them.This problem seemed to just recently have straighten itself out in the last day or two, when I got another 24H2 update this morning and

The issue that you currently have when running programs as an administrator could be caused by incompatibility of some programs. For us to determine the cause and address the issue, we would like to gather the following information:

• Were there any changes made or updates performed on your computer before the issue started?
• Did you get any error messages?
• How many times have you run the System File Checker tool?

To further isolate the issue, we suggest that you run again the System File Checker (SFC) tool and see if it addresses the issue. If the problem persists, please go ahead and perform a clean boot. This will help us determine what conflict is causing the

a program on windows 10 can only be started with "Run as an adminstrator"

If a program is configured to Always Run as an Administrator, there is a possibility that the program is protected from unauthorized access.

For us to isolate your issue and provide an appropriate resolution, we would like to know the following:

• Is the issue isolated only on a specific program?
• Are you using an administrator account?

In the meantime, we have steps that we can try to allow a program to run in standard mode. Here are the steps below:

• Type in the "program name" in the Search box.
• Right-click on the program and select Open file location.
• Right-click on the program and click Properties.
• Click the Compatibility tab.
• Under the Settings section, uncheck Run this program as an administrator.

Running Programs for a standard user

Hello

You mentioned checking the the box 'Run as Administrator'

This is the opposite of what I require ,I wanted to avoid running programs as admin . By unchecking 'Run As Administrator' I am still getting an admin credential verification prompt

Any further suggestions ?
