Windows 10: Problems with Adobe Lightroom appear to be from corrupted User Account

I have been experiencing some weird things in Adobe Lightroom and have been troubleshooting over the last couple of days. So far the only thing that has resolved the issues is logging in with a new/different User Account. Since my user account is tied to OneDrive and my email, though I don't use OneDrive much, I'd rather not give that up and I don't think I can create a new User Account using the same email address. I also would rather not lose all my settings and desktop for other programs. What would you suggest? If you are interested, the problem I have in LrC (Lightroom Classic) is with all disclosure arrows disappearing when I scroll over them and they don't come back until I start a new session, then they disappear again as soon as I move over to use them. Also, when moving to develop windows the photo that is selected appears in a small square (not really a window) overlapping some of the panels instead of in the large section in the middle of the screen where it is supposed to be. I can supply screen prints if it will help to visualize things. I've seen no other problems in any other application and the problems have existing for quite a while. I've already updated my computer including graphics drivers. I have been working with Lightroom gurus on another forum and they were the ones who brought up the corrupted user account and had me try a new one. Windows version: 20H2 Build: 19042.1083

I have (exactly) the same problem.

Lightroom opens fine after each computer restart and, whilst it appears to hang when "Develop" is pressed for the first time and takes a few seconds longer, the Develop window does open. However, when a new image is opened subsequently and "Develop" is pressed
a second time, the program hangs, with the header in the top left hand of the screen reading "Lightroom Catalog - Adobe Photoshop Lightroom - Develop (Not Responding)". There is no error message.

This is the first time I have encountered the problem and absolutely coincides with my upgrade to Windows 10.

You put them into C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Develop Presets and it should import them and a dialog message saying importing should appear.
