    Problems with Email Rules in Outlook 2016 Desktop - Using MS Office Professional 2016 NOT...


    I am having issues with Email Rules in Outlook 2016 Desktop. Sometimes the rules work and sometimes they don't. I have deleted all rules, started over, cleared cache, cleared cookies, and re-installed Outlook 2016 desktop, but to no avail. I am using a 2022 LG Laptop, Windows 11, and Outlook 2016 Desktop Microsoft® Outlook® 2016 MSO Version 2309 Build 16.0.16827.20166 32-bit version and MS Office Proffesional 2016 NOT MS Office 365Edition: Windows 11 Home Version: 22H2 OS build: 22621.2428 Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22674.1000.0Device name: LG Laptop Model # 17Z9

    Outlook Email popup notifications MS Office Professional 2016

    Thank you Denis for the most helpful answer esp one that doesn't try to dictate what I do and don't need. I will give it a try tomorrow and hope it I can get something working in Outlook 2016.

    Outlook 2016 on desktop not showing rules from Office 365 online

    My rules do not show up in my desktop version of outlook that were created online in outlook 365 exchange when I look at my rules under >Manage Rules & Alerts I see a Yellow triangle saying " there are rules created with a different version of outlook or outlook web access that are not shown "

    I am using Office Professional Plus 2016 with outlook version 2001 Build 12430.20184

    and the Office 365 Online exchange that is business.

    I set the rules up online so they fed down to my system and parts of them work, the categorize ones do not work.

    Why the triangle and how to fix it ?
