Windows 10: Problems with iTunes in Windows 10

Since late May 2024 I can't open iTunes on my Windows 10-Laptop. When I try to open it it says:C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00.UWPDesktop_14.0.33728.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\MSVCP140.dll is either not design to run on windows or it contains an error. Error status 0xc0000020.C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00.UWPDesktop_14.0.33728.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\VCRUNTIME140.dll is either not design to run on windows or it contains an error. I suggest you to try uninstall iTunes from the Programs and Features.

Follow the below steps to uninstall iTunes:

Step 2:

I suggest you to install iTunes in compatibility mode and check.

Follow the below steps:

1. Right-click on the setup file of the iTunes and select Properties.

2. Select Compatibility tab.

3. Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.

4. Let the iTunes install and then check the functionality.

I can't open iTunes or iCloud in Windows 10
