Windows 10: Problems with itunes in windows 8.1

I have a problem with itunes in windows 8.1 have contacted Apple and they have advised I contact windows

iTunes won't connect to my iTunes Media directory

1. Uninstall iTunes completely. (I suggest using Geek Uninstaller. In my experience this does a good job of clearing remnants.)
2. Download and install latest iTunes from Apple, not Windows Store (Never use the Windows Store for iTunes.)
3. Check whether the Apple version allows you to point to your old media store.

If iTunes was previously installed on the machine, I suggest you to remove all the previously installed components and then try downloading a fresh copy of iTunes.

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall iTunes. Please follow the below mentioned steps:

To uninstall iTunes follow the below steps:

1. Press Windows key + X.

2. Go to control Panel.

3. Select Add and Remove programs.

4. Uninstall iTunes and reinstall iTunes from manufacturer Website.
