Windows 10: Problems with keyboard

Discus and support Problems with keyboard in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I can`t type an an ``at`` sign for emails. I get an asterisk.     I can`t type an an ``at`` sign for emails. I get an asterisk. Also I can`t type a question mark I get an E with an accent on it.

    Hi all, I have just acquired a Nokia Lumia 625, and am trying to download Skype from the Microsoft shop. Two things happen -- either Microsoft does not recognise the password for my newly acquired account (although it does accept it when I access it from
    my PC), or I get an error code message, 8009030e. Very frustrating... Thanks for any help!

    Hi edbulmer,

    Are you in western Canada? I only ask as the É replaces the ? on a Canadian multilingual board.

    Please check your current language and region settings are correct

    Incidentally, if you hold down ALT and type 64 you can insert a @ using a keyboard that doesn't have that key functioning.
    ie The keystroke "Alt+64" outputs @

    That did the trick, my keyboard was on Canadian (French) version

    You've changed the settings? I'd have probably kept it as it is and moved to Quebec. You'd have had the excitement of living somewhere new plus your keyboard would have been ready to go...a win-win situation in the book of life.
