  1. Problems with Logitech keyboard/mouse wireless MK345

It keyboard and mouse had worked fine for more than 2 years. But, last night it began to play up. The A key stopped working the M key resulted in a +M the with each following press of the M key it would type a D. I changed the batteries in both keyboard and mouse rebooted the PC, but still the same. I plugged them into my laptop which runs Windows 10 and still the same issue. My PC runs Windows 7 professional with SP1. As the laptop had the same issue I know it's device based, not system based. I have resolved the issue by buying a new same model Logitech keyboard and mouse. Has anyone encount

    :)

Problems with Logitech keyboard/mouse wireless MK345 Model and MK270. Both the keyboard and mouse are erratic. Batteries fine, plugged and unplugged toggle, then works for a short while.

Logitech wireless keyboard / mouse hangs

    Problems

    • Intermittent nature
    • The mouse will often hang (won't move)
    • The keyboard will often not type
    • Sometimes, the keys get saved up and come out later all at once, and sometimes they never come out
    • The mouse seems to have difficulty traveling to the top left of the screen.

    Equipment

    • Dell Precision M3800 Laptop
    • Windows 10 Professional operating system
    • Logitech wireless keyboard (K270)
    • Logitech wireless mouse (M185). They came in the same box / use the same dongle.
    • "Plugable USB 3.0" docking station that runs the DisplayLink software. It has two monitors attached to it, one by DVI and the other by HDMI. It's plugged into the laptop by USB.

    Troubleshooting Steps Taken

    • Wired keyboard and wired mouse work great.
    • When wireless was plugged in, it was in a USB port on the laptop itself, not the docking station
    • I rerouted the monitors to plug directly into the laptop (take this docking station out of the equation). So far the wireless keyboard/mouse are not malfunctioning. This seems to indicate that the docking station is a necessary component to reproduce the problem). But I have to give it 1-2 days to make sure because the problem is intermittent.

    Question

What would be a good first choice for a fix I can try that won't hurt anything (update a driver...where?)?

Problems with Logitech keyboard/mouse wireless MK345

Problems with Logitech keyboard/mouse wireless MK345 Model and MK270. Both the keyboard and mouse are erratic. Batteries fine, plugged and unplugged toggle, then works for a short while.

    Greg,

I used the links you sent but so far problem still exists. I started with Logitech MK345 Model, returned to the company I got it from. He now says it works fine. Won't give me a refund, I guess because it works for him. I think my problem is somehow related to the wireless connection here. I've rearrange how things are plugged in but hasn't helped.

I have my old "wired" mouse and keyboard but they're packed away and I have some physical issues that would make it hard for me to get then and setup.

I think I'm going to contact the company I bought the second set, it's a MK270 Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Combo. It too has the same problems. Can't figure out what my "setup here" is doing or not doing to cause this problem.

Thanks for reaching out and trying to help me. Unless you can come up with something else for me to try I guess I'll just have to hope the second company where I got the MK270 can help me. If not I'll have to just buy another mouse/keyboard that's not wireless. Thanks again.
