Windows 10: Problems with monitor brithness

I have a Dell latitude E6420 with win10 pro. One evening i tried to move down my screen brightness and could not get back brithness level in normal position. The screen is so dark that i almost see nothing, i am trying to recovery my win 10 pro but problem still is. What can i do?

• What changes did you make in the BIOS? As making the changes in the BIOS is only recommended by Microsoft if done by the manufacturer.
  

• How are you connecting to the 2nd monitor?

Trouble with 2 monitors

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps:

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.
