    I have been using Windows Media Player for a long time with my collection of mp3 files. The old version is called Windows Media Player Legacy in Windows 11. The new version is called Windows Media Player. Occasionally, I like to make a playlist of all my songs and remove "listened to" songs from the playlist so I can track the next song to play. I have over 20,000 songs.The problem is that the legacy version will no longer allow me to create a playlist over 6,000 songs. So I tried using the new version and was able to create a new playlist with all songs. BUT, when I remove songs from the play

    windows media player problem

    Well its not exactly a problem,usually when i left click the mp3 it should just play but now it just automatically create some playlist with the previous song i was listening to. There anyway to change this because I'm annoyed with it and its the new Windows media player that comes with windows 7.

    For now, you may also follow this steps on how to find which Playlist a particular song is placed:

    • Click on one of your Playlists.
    • Go to the Search box, and then type the title of the song.

    If the song is on that particular Playlist, it would show up.

    If the song is not on the Playlist, you would get a message: There are no items matching "Title of the song" in this view.

    Saving playlists in windows media player

    I am trying to add a playlist in windows media player. I have several from my time with windows 7. I add the songs to the playlist and try to save the new list. I would type in the name and I would get "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while creating
    or saving the playlist." I have tried many things and I have looked at the suggested fixes but I have no idea what to do.

    Any suggestions that can help?

    I know I ask a lot but I try to help.
