    Problems with Phone Link on Windows 11


    I experienced a disc crash and was successful in rebuilding my system by using a backup. Before the crash, Phone Link was working beautifully. Once the system was restored, I have attempted at least 20 times with no success. Not cretain where the proboem lies.Trying to link with a Samsung Galaxy smart phone. When attempted to connect phone to my Windows desktop, there is always an error message saying there was a problem and to try again later. Additionally, on the PC there are two occasions when I am asked to go to www.aka.ms/ No matter which browser I am using this site never opens. It

    Supported phones for Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Mobile

    Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.

    When my phone fails to upgrade I just keep trying. One upgrade took 3 or 4 tries.
