Windows 10: Problems with Photos "Save a Frame"

I am trying to save a frame of a video as a JPG. I have opened the video in Photos, stopped the video at the desired frame, clicked the three dots, and "save a frame". I save the JPG to my desktop, and the bottom half of the photo is a green box. Please assist.

Why am I unable to save a photo a frame from a self shot video. I click on Save as A Photo and then get a message there was a problem try again later.

Any remedies please.

 

saved frames from video in Microsoft Photos have a black line

whenever i try to save frames from a video in Microsoft Photos, a black line appears on the side in the saved photo - is there a way to prevent this?

 

Microsoft Photos App - Error when saving a photo while saving frames from a video

Hi,

I'm trying to create photos from my videos using the Photos app but am encountering an error.

I open the video with the app, click Edit & Create -> Save Photos, then whenever I click on the 'Save Photo' option when viewing frame by frame, I'm given the same error: 'Something went wrong. Please try that again'.

I have tried this many times over a few weeks but it's still not working.

Any advice on how to resolve this issue would be appreciated.
