Windows 10: Problems with Printing

I have an Epson WF-2540 printer and also running Adobe Acrobat 10.1.16. About 1 hour ago both stopped printing for some reason. I troubleshot the Adobe-no problems found. I rebooted my Laptop (Lenovo Yoga) 2 times and shut it down completely once. Nothing worked. The printer shows “error printing” in the box. The PDF shows this in a Notepad that appeared on the Desktop where the PDF should have been: %%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%% EuphemiaCAS not found, using Courier. %%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: xshow ]%% Stack: [27 38 31 12 26 25 17 30 13 0] ([1]  &#6 0.0 [] 10.0 1 1 1.0 false %%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%% %%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %% How can I get both back to working? Thanks, Tony

Print to PDF missing in Printer List

Hi William,

We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

• Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
• Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
• On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
  OK to save changes.
• Restart your PC.
• Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.

PDF Printing Problem With Edge

In order to assist you better could you please confirm a couple of things:

• How did you try to print?
• What happens when you try to print?
• Did you receive any error message?

Nevertheless, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if this helps:

• Open the PDF file which you want to print.
• Click on the Ellipses which is at the top right hand corner of the Edge Browser.
• Select Print option and then click ok.

B&W printing problem

Print a photographic image with true black in it somewhere and see if it comes out correctly. If not, then yes, replacing your black ink cartridge should do it.

Edit: And yes, Namslas' suggestion is a good one, though I'd suggest alcohol instead of water.
