Windows 10: Problems with Synaptics - MEDIA - 8.66.96.57

Hi ,i've an Asus N580GD model with windows 10 home.


I've got a problem when windows update try to install the driver in subject , the camera and the microphone doesn't work anymore , i've followed all the faqs but nothing resolve the problem.

Now i've solved with a restore point, but windows update want install the update again.

How can i solve ?

Synaptics driver update for Synaptics SMBus ClickPad - Error 0x800f0248

Hi,

This issue may occur due to the outdated Synaptic Touchpad
drivers. Try the below steps and check if it helps.

I would suggest you to download and install the latest Synaptic Touchpad drivers from the device manufacturer’s website and uninstall the Synaptic touchpad drivers and re-install the same again.

Note: Make sure you download and save the Touch Pad driver and installed it before uninstalling the same.

To uninstall Synaptic touchpad drivers, follow these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Locate Mice and other pointing devices and expand the same.
  
• 
  Right-click the Synaptic driver and select
  Uninstall. (Note: keep the latest installed Synaptic driver)
  
• 
  Restart the computer, if prompted.

synaptics Pointing Device Driver

Try Uninstalling your device first, restart and then Install again.

Step 1:

• Open device manager by right clicking This PC and select Manage. On the left pane, click the same.
• Under Mouse and pointing devices, right click the synaptics driver and click Uninstall.

Step 2:

Restart when prompted. Remember, Restart!

Step 3:

Install the synaptics driver again using the setup utility provided by the manufacturer

 

N78 and Route 66 Mobile 8

Having problems with route 66 mobile 8.

After a work around install from route66..programs works with internal gps. However.. when selecting the "Option" menu the applications shuts down..

Have reported this problem to route 66 but have not yet heard anything..

Are there other people that have the same problem.?

software version 10.136.051.1
