Windows 10: Process named "System" takes enormous amounts of disk usage

This just appeared out of the blue while I was playing a game, and I've been noticing that I have been experiencing more stutters than anticipated, I know I don't have that much memory with me 8 GB but when I checked out the Task Manager, it showed up that a process named "System" appeared to have the most Disk Usage out of all processes. I am unsure really what it is specifically but it has been worrying me.This is something unnatural to me, and I have no idea how to replicate this either, so it would be appreciated if anyone here knows how to deal with this.

High Disk Usage Due to "System" Process?

So ive been struggling and racking my brain trying to figure out why my disk usage is high to a "system process"... I have tried everything I discovered on the web. These include disabling MSI, disabling windows search, disabling connected user tracking
(a.k.a. DiagTrack), also looked into registry errors, and i can not figure it out. If anyone has any input or thought its be greatly apprciated.

My current system build:

• AMD Ryzen7 1700
• Gigabyte AX370- K7 Gaming
• 16GB Corsair Vengence RAM
• Gigabyte GTX1080
• 1TB Western Digital HDD

I spent many more hours than I had hoped this past week reading and trying others' suggestions from this community on how to reduce high RAM usage due to ntoskrnl.exe. The "System and compressed memory" process remained the top consumer of RAM, using 500-900MB,
among all other processes running. I deemed it to be the likely culprit in making my computer use frustratingly sluggish. After completing your
third step, steps 1. & 2. provided no improvement in my case, the "System and compressed memory" process RAM usage has plummeted from the top of the Task Manager Process list to the bottom, running at a remarkable 0.1MB! That's a whole lot less than
1% of the targeted process' gluttony. You're hired! Ps. I'll be keeping an eye on the process' use as I get back to normal operations, and be back if it floats to high in the list. Or if the registry fix you suggested has compromised use in any way. Please
explain in simple terms what the insertion of your registry modification is doing.
