Windows 10: Processor burst speed degraded???

When I got this laptop the processor speed was 3.0Ghz, 3.0GhzNow the second 3.0Ghz has turned into a 2995Mhz ?!??How is that possible?I’ve searched for about an hour about this and it seems like this has never happened to anybody ever before? Is my processor the first in history to do this? This can’t be normal behaviour…Intel core i3-1115G4 11th gen 2 coresMy girlfriend has the same laptop with the same processor and hers says 3.0Ghz, 3.0GHz both times and yet hers is older than mine…Also I’ve been experiencing random freezes - sometimes the laptop runs fine for hours sometimes it freezes f

Abysmal wifi speed on Windows 10

I've checked that drivers are up to date. I have 2 different wifi cards and 1 usb wifi adapter. I tried just about everything. Reception on other devices is fine, including a device located in the same spot as computer. It's strictly the computer after updating
to Windows 10. My wifi speed starts fine but will quickly go down to about 0.1 to 2 mbps (instead of 15+) Nothing seems to fix this, other than a Network reset, after which speed is fine again but quickly degrades.

I'm on Windows 10 Pro, v1709 Build 16299.371

Summary:

• No program is hogging the connection
• Speed degrades on multiple wifi adapter simultaneously
• Can only be fixed by a Network reset
• Steadily degrades over time after a reset
• No wifi problems on other devices, even in same location
  
• Drivers up to date
• Speed degrades to 0.1-2 mbps with short, temporary bursts to full speed

 

Processor Speed

Hi everyone!

I am using an HP Notebook, with an Intel i3 5005U processor and 4Gb of RAM.

Can anyone help boost my processor speed? It's locked at 0.78GHz and does not go to 2GHz unless it goes over 60% utilisation. Any suggestions without damaging my laptop?

Please let me know what do to.

That is normal, your Intel processor uses Speed Step and Turbo Boost, it has a base speed of 1.0GHz and it can boost up to a turbo speed of 4.4 GHz

Windows and the Intel software manage the speed of you processor dynamically, it will run at 1.0GHz when you are performing normal light tasks and will increase as you perform more demanding tasks when you have your Power Pan set to Balanced, which is the best setting for your system.
