    Hello, recently when I plug in my laptop CPU goes to it's boost clock ~3.4GHz and laptop heats up to 95-100C which causes throttling, on idle nothing open.When it runs off battery CPU is at it's normal clock, and the temps are greatI have tried:Clean BootChanging power planChanging the CPU boost to disabledUpdating WindowsUpdating AMD driversUpdating BIOSMy specs:CPU: Ryzen 5 3550HGPU: Nvidia GTX 1650RAM: 8Gb 8x1HDD/SSD: 2Tb HDD, 256Gb SSDAny help?Thanks.

    Processor Speed

    Hi everyone!

    I am using an HP Notebook, with an Intel i3 5005U processor and 4Gb of RAM.

    Can anyone help boost my processor speed? It's locked at 0.78GHz and does not go to 2GHz unless it goes over 60% utilisation. Any suggestions without damaging my laptop?

    Please let me know what do to.

    CPU boost speed display

    Hi everybody,

    I just bought an MSI GS65 laptop with 9th gen intel i7-9750 2.60GHz CPU which is boostable to 4.50MGz.as I mentioned above.

    but when I check the task manager/system info/device manager, it just shows 2.60GHz and no mention of its high-speed ability.

    so what is the problem? I am pretty sure that windows have to show the CPU based and boost speed also.

    I did all the windows Updates and I check the CPU speed in high-performance mode and it goes to over 4GHz so definitely this is the processor with high-speed boost ability. but why it does not show anywhere in windows information ?????

    my laptop is limited boost speed

    i have dell latitude e6540 laptop

    with i5 4300m

    and win 10 ultimate

    on Task manager the limit of cpu speed is 3.0 GHZ

    i search and find the max boost is 3.2 GHZ

    like here
