Does it still work? Its interesting because windows treats it as a virus.

I'm afraid you have a flawed detector, my friend
I downloaded the portable app to Win10-10049 yesterday and it downloaded nicely and worked perfectly without a peep from anything anywhere*Biggrin
A few moments ago I downloaded the standard app to Win8.1 (where it's already installed and works perfectly) and installed it again, without a peep, PUP, or pause and once again it works perfectly.
It has to be installed by administrator and Produkey displays Win8.1, IE and Wordviewer keys.
I have used those utilities for many years and not ashamed to say that I have more faith in Nirsoft and Sysinternals than I do in Virustotal *chuckle

EDIT:
I just installed WSCC on Win10-10049, 64bit version and used a different approach to obtaining the app
Using Bing I searched wscc, all lower case, and it delivered a list of colleges, businesses and a link for KLS-Software.
Downloaded WSCC and installed all 264 utilities it offers. No peep, PUP nor pause again and when running Produkey it shows a key for Internet Explorer and Win10TP. Nicely done as usual *chuckle

Try Nirsoft's Produkey and compare against Magicjellybean and remember, if you installed the free Media Center that changed your key. Windows 8.1 with Media Center and Windows 8.1 have different keys *chuckle

 

Produkey issue.

almost certainly a false positive, the file is downloaded from nirsoft and extracted via script on first run, so I guess you could try manually d/l from http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/produkey-x64.zip and see if it gets flagged on extraction. Is fine in both cases on my system
