Windows 10: Profile history erased?

Hi WIndows Community, my name is Angus Lee and I have a windows 10 pc with


Intel 8700k cpu

Tampa 2 motherboard

intel UHD 630 Graphics

8 gbs of RAM

650 watt power supply

preinstalled water cooler from hp

and an air cooler



I have recently had a freeze where I held down the power button to reboot it, when it had finished rebooting I tried to open my profile and it gave me an error, i tried it again and it gave me the preparing windows loading screenthis went on for about 1-2 minutes when it had finally loaded, windows said that an error has occured with my profile and that it is usually due to a change in password. my windows background had changed to the default one and when i tried to open all of my apps it told me to sign in on apps that are usually already signed in when i open windows. i looked inside file explorer and found that all the files were gone, except they weren't all of them were there just not in the usual folder, i had to go through the long way to find it by going through to this pc and selecting local disk and then going into the folder called users and selecting my name. this allowed me to find all the missing files and i found that nothing was missing. this is really strange because, 1 it just randomly froze even though all i did was open google and then it deleted all the personalization like passwords and backgrounds without deleting anything irreplacable.


if anyone could help me identify the cause of this problem i would be very grateful

N8 GPS Search History (erasing)

What are the steps needed to clear/erase the search history in the GPS mode? Clearing search history in phone/browser does not clear it in the GPS search...Thanks for any assistance.

Finally! An alternative to eraser...

it looks much cleaner then the eraser so that is a big step up.
