Windows 10: Profile won't save/load taskbar icons

Hello,


I have a client that gets his profile from a network folder. When the user signs in, they have no profile until the network pulls it in, so nothing is local to the PC.


When the user's profile loads, it pulls in desktop, then Outlook signature settings after a few minutes, but it never pulls up the taskbar icons. We've tried rebuilding the local profile, reverting the workstation, rebuilding the profile folder on the server, but had no luck. The issue seems to be his machine he's the only one affected out of 100+ users.


Any ideas as to why the profile pulls in everything but the taskbar?

System Icons on taskbar

Hi,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

Basic question on profiles

I made a OC profile in addition to the defualt. It is listed as the "3D profile" in the main screen. Does that mean the card will switch to those frequencies when the game goes into 3d mode, despite the defualt frequencies being listed when I put my mouse over the taskbar icon?
