    Program EXE gets corrupted with every restart, I have to repeatedly copy over EXE files...


    This randomly happens one day. I was using the program with no issue for a year in this particular computer. No problems.I have no idea what exactly causes this because I've scanned the computer multiple times with WIndows defender, and even additional antivirus like Malwarebytes and it's all clean. The only weird symptom that came to mind was that in the session before this started happening, I allowed some updates to install, and then Windows Defender suddenly started to hyper-aggressively dinging a bunch of exe files as Malware. Even default Microsoft systems like msiexec.exe the installe

    Hi,

    Please answer these questions so that we may assist you better.

    • Do you receive any error code or error messages while executing the .exe file? If yes, What is it?
    • Is the issue with Windows programs or other third party programs?
    • Have you made any changes to the computer prior to this issue occurring?
    Ensure that you have administrative privileges to run the .exe file.

    You may right click on a .exe file and select run as an administrator and check.

    Method 1:

    Try to run a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check for any file corruption. SFC scan will scan for corrupt system files on the computer and repair them.

    • Press Windows key + X, click Command Prompt (Admin).
    • In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:

      sfc /scannow
