Windows 10: Program failure of mspaint xp, when inserting the tool text.

The problem arises using a very popular program mspaint.exe XP ver. 5.1.2600.5918 standalone In this program there is a tool "Text"The program suddenly closes 2 seconds after installing the "Text" element. At the same time, even the cursor does not appear in the text field. No error messages!Mi Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19043.1320]

List of tooltip texts

• Do not translate the IDS_ strings, only what's inside the "s
• \n is a newline character that acts like "return" is pressed. so text\n\ntext2 adds a blank line between "text" and "text2"
• %s is replaced by some inserted text, you may move the %s to other positions within the text, but if multiple %s are present they will be inserted in the same order in all languages

 

Problem with text insertion

I copy from any website or application, and this text appears. If I copy it many times, and then paste it, then maybe the normal text will be inserted

 

WinME and mspaint

Here you are. This is the fileset you are looking for.
Put it in a new folder on your desktop, run the .exe inside the folder and it will extract the full MSPaint application. You can run it from within the folder, no need to install or replace anything. Even though it shows as a Win95 file it is functional in every O.S I've tried it in up to and including XP Pro. Surprised noone has suggested trying to upgrade to Vista.
