Program going unresponsive for milliseconds once interacted with/every few seconds.

I have a Windows 10 computer. Recently for the past about 2 months, sometimes when I interact with any program or it happens every few seconds it happens very commonly depending on how much ram my PC is using, and even when its using less, the program goes unresponsive for about a millisecond or two, making the taskbar show up and cancelling the key pressed, whether it's a keyboard click or a mouse click, it goes unresponsive. This becomes annoying when playing games, but it is most annoying when I have high ram programs on like Godot or Blender, whenever I interact with them at all, the p

  2. Programs become unresponsive in Windows 10

    Hi,

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried both with different results.

    Step 1: Safe Mode:

This seemed to work and I could save a file in Word without the program becoming "Unresponsive".

    Step 2: Clean Boot:

This did not work and Word would become unresponsive when trying to save a file.

I did notice another odd thing. It seems that sometimes (not often) Word would work the first time I used it If I close it and reopened it the unresponsive behavior returned. I tried opening Word several time but it remained unresponsive.

This is very frustrating as I use Word daily.

  3. Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    Millisecond Precision

I am trying to find a file manager that displays millisecond-level precision for audio files. I have a file manager called XYplorerinstalled; but, it displays the
incorrect length for a file that I have. The length is 26 hours, 19 minutes, and 54 seconds. But, in XYplorer's tooltip, the length is charted at “1:28:36.282.” I am guessing that is 1 hour, 28 minutes, 36 seconds, and 282 milliseconds. Does someone know of
a file manager which will display the correct length with millisecond-level precision. I found that I did not have the latest version of XYplorer. But, even after updating it, it displays the length in quotation marks earlier in this post.
