Windows 10: program keeps a notification in the windows taskbar

I have used the stable windows 11 since it came out in October. I love it despite some quirks but this really gets on my nerves...You know how a program could flash orange in the taskbar in windows 10 to alert you of a notification. It would stay orange until you would do something with it. Well in windows 11 a similar system exists where a program first flashes red and then stays red in the taskbar. Like when you did not save your word document but tried to close it anyway.Well I pinned word to my taskbar, but even tough word is not running on my pc it stays in that red notification state. Mi

I would suggest you to follow the steps to hide the notification icon on your taskbar.

• 
  Type Settings on your search bar
  
• 
  Click on systems
  
• 
  Select notifications and actions
  
• 
  Disable all the notifications on the screen

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
