    Program not responding


    For about a week or so now we’ve had the same issue that many have had since the latest update. We applied the patch yesterday and all seemd well. For a brief moment. Today while working within our company program, we attempted to email a client. The program emails through Google Chrome Gmail. PROGRAM NOT RESPONDING. After several frustrating minuets we did Alt Cntrl Delete to gett to task manager. Task manager NOT RESPONDING. I manially shut down my HP desktop and in a panic i attempt to do a backup. Ha! NOT RESPONDING. Now im going to send this and await the answer. In the meantime I’m contemplating painting a yellow stripe over my desktop computer and placing it in the employee parking lot. You can figure that one out I’m sure. #microsoftfixit

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.


    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
