    I got a new laptop. From most of the articles online, I am getting that the optimum range of charging for batteries these days is 30% to 80%. Does Windows 10 have a tool to implement "range" charging?

    When I plug my phone into my wall charger, it will not stay powered off. Any suggestions?

    yes it is the design of the OS, it will cut on if it is off when charging

    N900 crashed and now wont boot up

    what does it mean?:

    connect charger

    backlight stays off but nokia logo is visible with a usb logo (with one leg cut of) .no charge llight visible



    is it charging?

    Program to Cut Off Charging

    There is no optimal charging range unless you plan to store the battery some place. In either case, the hardware controls when and how the battery is charge, Windows offers no control over that.

    Unless you got a really cheap no name brand laptop, you do not need to concern yourself with the maintenance of the battery. The hardware does that on its own.
