Windows 10: Programfiles got deleteted!!!

    i got up this morning and started up my pc, nothing was working so i checked my drives and i didnt see "Program files" and "Programfilesx86"! can i get the back somehow?

    I was able to self-resolve by doing the following:

    • Launch admin command prompt.
    • Run (with quotes): "%PROGRAMFILES%\Windows Defender\MPCMDRUN.exe" -RemoveDefinitions -All
    • Wait for finished message.
    • Run (with quotes): "%PROGRAMFILES%\Windows Defender\MPCMDRUN.exe" -SignatureUpdate
    Once the final step completed, I am now able to check for updates via command center and within Windows Defender without error.

    Posting in the hope that this helps others rectify this issue.

    msi afterburner and my new hd5850

    and...

    Iff you want to use the MSI afterburn tool you have to follow these steps:

    1- Go to c:/programfiles/MSIafterburn
    2- open the config file in notepad
    3- make sure that custom clock is set to 1
