Programs are automatically installing after clicking .exe or .msi without user intervention...

Whenever I click on a .exe or .msi installation file to install a program like "mailspring.exe", the installation instantly starts without showing any UI prompts.A. It doesn't show the UAC popup.B. It doesn't show the UI prompts to personalize the installation by checking options and then clicking "next"C. Finally it doesn't show the UI prompt with the "install" button for me to conciously click and install the program myself. This occurs for all .msi and .exe files I download to install programs.I used a program to modify some settings like disable telemetry etc, maybe I unchecked some setting

    Vista Automatic Updating Error

    Resolution Suggestion:

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

Powershell command for installing exe and msi

Can someone help me with powershell commands for installing some exe and msi files from a pendrive?

I have apps like Cisco Jabber (MSI), Cisco AnyConnect (exe), Dell Command Update (MSI), and Webex Teams(MSI) I need to add to my powershell script to automatically install the software.

1: Not sure how to set the script so it knows where the installer file is located on the pendrive.

2: Need proper syntax for auto installing an executable or MSI.

    Thanks in advance!
