Programs are being moved between dual monitors based on the monitor's powered-up status. I keep a number of programs weather, diary, Outlook, etc. that only get cursory usage during the day on the #2 monitor. The main monitor #1 I like to keep my main programs Word, Excel, etc. as I use them continuously throughout the day. Recently, after a Windows update, when monitors are powered down most of the apps are moved to the powered-up monitor not always all apps.This occurs when the monitors are powered down manually or by Windows display timeout feature.I’ve been using dual m

• How have you setup dual monitors?
• Are you referring to use 2 different mouse/keyboard with the dual monitor setup?

If yes, the mouse or keyboard may function same as one another. Since, it has to be connected to single PC/tower.

However, setting up 2 different mouse/keyboard with the Dual- monitor setup, it may not function separately for each monitor.

I have Two monitors, my laptop is in front of me, the second is to the left of the laptop. the problem I have is that when I want to move the cursor to the left monitor screen, it stops at the left side of the laptop monitor and won't go further, but when
I move the cursor to the right side of the laptop, it moves past the right side of the screen and appears on to the left monitor screen. this is obviously opposite of the direction I need the cursor to moving and is frustrating as times. I need a suggestion
to solve this dilemma. I don't see a solution in the manual. Thank You

 

Double Monitor Setup is not connecting

Hi Yuri,

To setup dual monitors, I suggest you to press Windows + P keys
and select Extend or the required option and check for status. If you are still unable to setup dual monitor, suggest you to update the Display Adapter driver by following the steps provided below and check for status.

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update the driver.
