Windows 10: Programs are open and running in taskbar but not displaying on monitor/able to click

Recently my PC running Windows 10 Pro has started acting up and has been having this issue where programs will open when I click on them but won't display on my monitor/nothing happens when I click on the program icon on the taskbar. I don't know what is causing this issue as it hasn't before in the past. I noticed this issue is mainly with Steam and Discord mainly now, but it seems to happen to be moody and this still happens with any random program. The issue doesn't resolve by simple restarts, and I've done virus/malware scans and cleaned the PC as best as I know how to. If anyone is famili

Remove (open) programs from taskbar

I'd just get a program called Ultramon. It puts a second taskbar on the second monitor, so if you have something up and running on the second monitor at all times it is displayed on that taskbar. It doesn't do exactly what you want, but it does solve the problem of wasted taskbar space.

 

Opening taskbar programs on multiple displays

I have 4 monitors connected to my PC running Windows 10 Pro. Currently when I open a program from any taskbar on any monitor, it will open on the last screen it was running on. Is there a way to have a program open on the monitor where I opened the program
from the taskbar? for example, if I open photoshop from the taskbar on any monitor, it opens on display #2 (where I last had it running). Is there a way to open Photoshop - or any other program pinned to my taskbar - from, let's say, monitor three, and have
it open on monitor three regardless of where it was last running?

Hey all!

Ok, so some programs I have running all the time, like Spotify and Outlook. They are actually pretty much open all the time as I finally got around to plug in the second monitor. So it feels like a waste of taskbar space to actually have them be there, especially as I have them ready at hand in the notification area.

It seems almost no programs can do this on their own, so does anyone know of anyway that this can be done?

EDIT: I know Outlook since 2003 have the option to "Hide when minimized", and that's good and all, but it's still in the taskbar when it's up and running.
