Windows 10: Programs crashing on startup

Random programs, including windows ones, crash once they open, and I have no idea what to do.

Examples: spotify, guitar pro, device manager, all windows trouble shooters.

Things like chrome, discord, and steam still open, so I dont know the connection between the ones that crash.



Things I've tried:

1. I've done a windows memory diagnostic test which came up with nothing
2. I did a windows store apps troubleshoot which told me my temporary internet files location has been moved (before the program crashed)
3. Booting into safemode fixed the issue

In terms of the internet files, I tried all the ways to reset the location, and I still get the error.

The issue came up in the last few days, but fixed itself. Now the issue is constant and no amount of restarting fixes it.

The only things I've installed in the last few days are:

1. Voicemeeter
2. Realtek audio drivers

both I have uninstalled and the issue persists.

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

 

Can't get GPU-Z to start with Windows 8.1 startup

I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?

 

Adding programs to startup with Windows 7?

You could add entries to the registry to launch the apps on startup, but it's easier to just add them to the startup foler as Newt suggested.
