Windows 10: PROGRAMS FROZEN/DOESN'T UPDATE UNTIL THE WINDOW HAS BEEN MOVED, MINIMIZED OR RESIZED...

To anyone who tried to use Blender, Davinci Resolve, or play Project Zomboid but found out the program stays frozen until moved minimized or resized then TURN OFF HIGH CONTRAST MODE.

There may be several reasons why you are unable to resize or move applications after installing an update. To better assist you with your concern, we would like you to answer the questions below:

• Does it happen only on one application?
• Which application are you having issues resizing or moving?

In the meantime, we suggest you to run the Windows 10 troubleshooter. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel
• Run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter

Programs freeze until the window's been moved

I've been trying to use DaVinci Resolve and Blender (two completely different and unrelated programs) recently to complete a couple projects, and whenever I'd use them things were frozen.

Until I realized that the actions I'd perform inside the window still counted, they just simply didn't show until I moved the programs window with the titlebar.

for example I move a cube to the right in blender, nothing will happen until I move the window up a bit.

I'm not sure how many other programs have a similar issue.

I'm not very good with computers, does anyone know how to resolve this issue? will answer any questions
