  1. Programs keep being installed to my PC?

I swear that everyday, I keep uninstalling these programs (because I have no idea where they came from in the first place): Alertus desktop, airmedia, nitroplus, and solstice client.

No matter what, they keep reinstalling after I've uninstalled them, usually the next day. Is this normal? I can't seem to find anything about them being automatically installed anywhere. I've also scanned my PC with windows defender and malwarebytes.

  2. Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

  3. PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??

  4. Programs keep being installed to my PC?

    cant install a program

    Hi Maxime,

The error code driver_power_state_failure means that a driver is not handling the power state properly on your PC. You need to make sure that your PC and all your attached devices are on the

    Hardware Compatibility list
    .

We suggest installing the mouse driver in Compatibility Mode by following these steps:

    • Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.
    • Right click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.

    • Select Compatibility Tab .

    • Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility Mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list
    • Let the program install and then check the functionality.

Feel free to post back on this thread if you have any other queries.
