  1. programs not using gpu

GPU 1 is 3060ti while GPU 0 is the gpu that came with the laptop. This made my game run at 45 - 50 FPS.I've changed the settings for roblox to use the 3060ti on the NVIDIA Control panel and Graphics Settings but it doesn't seem to change anything.Roblox only uses GPU 1 when OBS Studio is closed.Disabling the GPU 0 makes it use the 3060ti but it makes it run at a low amount of FPS.Overclocking doesn't seem to boost the FPS.The GPU is connected by a Thunderbolt 4 Cable to my laptop with a Thunderbolt 3 Port.Roblox can run at 40 FPS with my GPU 0 while Rocket League runs at 15 FPS with my GPU 0, R

Is there a way to force a program to use a secondary GPU?

I have 2 GPU's (Nvidia GTX 970 and 1080) and I want to force a program to use the 1080 for certain programs/games. Going to Settings>System>Display>Graphics Settings should give me the option to switch GPU's. Unfortunately it does not list both of my GPU's
nor does it allow me to change to another one, only the default GPU is chosen (the 970). This is a desktop computer and I have tried the Nvidia control panel and UEFI settings without much luck. If I tried selecting a program to run on my 1080 (through the
Nvidia control panel), it would still run it on the 970. I have tried switching the GPU's around with not much luck there either. If I can suggest to Microsoft the option in the Graphics Settings to list both GPU's for selection, that would be great. Otherwise
I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you for your time.

  3. Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

wrong bios programmed on my card what now?

are you kidding? or is this being lost in language barriers?(if so, then id suggest trying google translateon the list above, or reading it several times, im sorry that i cant help with that part) the PCIe slot is what you need, thats where you plug the GPU into. follow the step by step guide, that is your solution. VGA= Video Graphics array, or adapter in this case, AKA GPU, Aka, Video Card.

The 2nd gpu acts as a way to boot into OS since you're not able to do so with the damaged GPU. I don't know what your system specs are but if you have onboard graphics enable them in your bios and then reset your PC or do it after a reset depending on what your motherboard requires that will allow you to boot into your operating system then follow the steps after number three in the list above.( note that if you do not have built-in graphics on your CPU this is where you will use a second GPU )

i hope this helps......Best of luck, i have 35minutes to get dressed, and be on a transport to Kessel.......another day covered in Spice, *Frown programs not using gpu :( (atleast im working in the Refinery *Wink programs not using gpu ;) )
