    Was it on your previous drive?
    Please don't reinstall this type of software.
    Also for all drivers please get them directly from the computer manufacturer or the component manufacturer.
    Please don't use any driver update software applications.

    Since the drive replacement have you had a problems?
    crashes, freezes, bsod, etc. ?

    Please check the optical drive:
    Is there a CD/DVD that is problematic?

    Programs not working

    Hi Zbook, this is the updated BOSD DESKTOP-F47722V-Thu_26_10_2017_145732_99.zip The cd/dvd rom hasn't worked for a long time. I did a post on here back in March this year as the drive doesn't show. I have tried all the solutions that were offered but none of them worked. It says in device manager that it is working properly. In the end I gave up. It also says in device manager that the driver is up to date and when I click on update driver it says it is the latest. There haven't been any blue screens or crashes since I put the new drive in. I did have a WD My passport drive attached and I'm not sure if it was still attached when I did the BOSD after it was fixed. I think it had a problem as it had the backup on it but I couldn't retrieve the backup, it went all night and nothing was put back.

    There is another drive that is connected to the computer via USB.
    Can this drive be removed for several days while the event log is observed for drive problems?
    This way only the WDC drive will be the only drive.

    I have downloaded 2 of the drivers but want to make sure I am deleting the right old drivers first. the ones in my drivers file are smb_driver_intel.aux.sys the one you suggested was smb_driver_intel.sys. the other one is iaStorAV.sys and the one you recommended was iaStorA.sys. I couldn't get the qualcomm one as when you go to their site it says they don't support end consumers and the other site doesn't have anything on it.

    Which AV products are you currently using that are always on?
    Which AV products are you using that are manual?

    Are you now or were you using Bitdefender?

    What are the sources that you are using for each driver?
    Toshiba is the preferred source.
    Look in control panel > uninstall programs > see if Intel rapid storage technology is listed


    The misbehaving drivers were displayed in post #49
    There were 16 BSOD mini dump files that were debugged to find the misbehaving drivers.
    All 16 were debugged again.
    The misbehaving drivers did not change. The were identical to those posted earlier.

    If the Toshiba website does not have the Qualcom drivers to reinstall then find the applicable driver on the Killer Wireless website:
    Killer Network | Killernetworking | Killer Control Center

    If the Toshiba website does not have the Intel drivers to reinstall then find the applicable drivers on the Intel website.

    This is the link in case Toshiba does not have the Intel Rapid storage technology: Downloads for Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST)

    In addition Intel has a driver update utility that was renamed to Intel driver and support assistant. This software can be used if the drivers cannot be found on the Toshiba website.

    Programs not working

    I was using bit defender but did not re instal it after the new hard drive. I am using windows defender. I'm not using any that are manual. I was using driver boost to update drivers but haven't put that back on either. I will go to the Toshiba website and see if I can find them there.

    Run the bitdefender uninstall tool: Uninstall Bitdefender
    Do not use any software that updates or enhances drivers as you won't know what you are getting.
    The best drivers are from the computer manufacturer as they may modify the component manufacturer drivers.
    The next best source is the component manufacturer.
