Programs Removed by Windows 10 Major Updating Nov. 2018

While I have just discovered about this glitch in Windows 10 update, reported since 2017, I wonder why Microsoft has not warned its users! It is totally devastating. After a notification in the Action Center. I agreed to the update (Nov. 9th, 2018). The dire result after quite a while and Restart: So many programs and files had disappeared for good! It included photoshop, other graphic tools, the older version of MS office (2010), many pictures, all programs bought from MS stores, all music and Media applications ... nearly everything but the very basic. Fortunately Intact were the documents. But even new fonts had gone. No sign of the anti-virus anymore. The Google Chrome was replaced by the Explorer, same as my Media Player ... Had it not been for the Word Documents it was as if the computer had been reformatted ... or as if it was infected by an MS virus! I am just reporting this because Microsoft claims it has only happened to very few!! Otherwise, I am sure Microsoft has no real solution for it, even though I know that my old files have been exiled to the Windows.old folder for 30 days before being deleted automatically forever! However, to be able to retrieve or read these files before the deadline, I have only a month to reinstall many DELETED programs and applications. AGAIN, MY ONLY QUESTION: WHY MICROSOFT HAS NOT WARNED ITS USERS BY A SIMPLE NOTIFICATION since 2017 to be cautious? WHY KEEP HOLDING TO AN UPDATE VERSION THAT ACTS AS A BUG? Is this policy anything but an outright COVER UP??

    :)

Next Major Windows 10 Update Named "Spring Creators Update"

The next Windows 10 service pack major update has been named "Spring Creators Update." Windows Insider Program users toying with Build 17618 of the operating system spotted a listing of all the major updates of Windows 10 known to the build, when running "Get-VMHostSupportedVersion" in Power Shell. The last entry reads "Microsoft Windows 10 Spring Creators Update 1803." The version number (1803 in this case), often coincides with the public release date of the update. The Fall Creators Update 1709, released in 2017-09 (September) to Insiders. Going by that convenion, Spring Creators Update could see a "branded" Insider preview build this month, 2018-03 (March), with a public release usually 3-4 weeks after, presumably before Summer kicks in.

  3. Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.
