Windows 10: Project Duplicate Desktop to Roku Streaming Stick - Image flipped

I have a Roku Streaming Stick and a 1-year-old high-end HP Laptop running Windows 11 Pro. For years I have been able projected the desktop with the Roku as a Duplicate monitor. No problems. About a week ago the screen flipped top to bottom. I have not found a way to get it back to normal. If I Extend the screen, then everything is right-side up. I don't want to run it this way as the room arrangement makes it inconvenient. I am also wondering what I did do to cause this.1 Connected another similar laptop to this Roku, it works normal.2 I have several other Roku's connected to TVs, subject la

Hi there

1) Have you enabled Media streaming in the settings.
2) I think you need some type of application to start the Roku service --have you started it.

I use MEZZMO for my Media streamer so I can stream from Computer (server) to TV's around the place -- you need to ensure any DNLA flags are enabled so the devices you want to play on can see and access the DLNA server (in my case MEZZMO).

3) you might need an exception in the firewall but the application should sort that out.

Is your ROKU stick in the computer or on another device like a TV.

Note the ROKU device needs an MHL port to function.

Connect To Roku Streaming Stick


I'm on build:10240 and I was wanting to connect my computer to my Roku Streaming Stick.
Is there a way to do this on 10240?If so how?

- My computer is only a month old and has Windows 10 version 1709, OS build 16299.98 in 2017.

- Windows is being updated automatically (the last update was yesterday)

- As recommended, I have removed ROKU device and then added it several times (still "can not connect"}

- I have run Troubleshooter for devices - no problem "device is working properly"

- Checked the ROKU driver - the latest is installed. Bought the ROKU Streaming Stick last month (it is not connected to PC, but works fine from Wi-Fi)

- The Digital Media Server is connected (if it means anything to you)

The whole experience is really frustrating, I hope you can help me.
