Windows 10: Projector/beamer changes desktop background color automatically after disconnection.

Each time when I connect a beamer for my teaching classes, the colors are OK on PC and Beamer.But when I restart my PC at home, the back ground color of the desktop is reset to Black, instead of my own preference blue.I can change it back to Blue, but it is frustrating that each time after a teaching I have to adjust the background color again.Who knows a solution?

Hi,

To change the desktop background into a solid color, see the steps below:

• Right-click on the desktop, and select Personalize.
• Under Personalization, select Background.
• On the right pane, click on the drop-down menu for Background, and then select
  Solid color.
• Choose your preferred color and it should immediately make changes.

The answer given below did not solve my problem. I followed the steps given and when I returned to my work screen it was still black, there does not seem anyway to save your changes and color selection.

In order to change the desktop background Color of the Windows by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, type Settings and select the top most search result.
• Select Personalization and click on Colors from the left side panel of the window.
• Choose the appropriate color you want to personalize the window and check.
