Windows 10: Projector flickering and not displaying correctly the image

At our school we have video projectors Dell and Viewsonic, for the last month some of them cannot keep the display active and go on and off intermittently. Some computers will have to power off and then back on in order to have the projectors running, otherwise they just won't work.Would it be the issue a possible Windows 10 update/patch that might have lowered the power of the HDMI and Display ports down for some reason?Computers are all Dell. Anybody is aware of this or having the same issue? For now I have an hdmi powered switch that "fixed" the problem on one computer and an hdmi repeater/

Projector is flickering.

I have my computer hooked up to 3 projectors (not the same brand) and 1 monitor. 1 of the projectors is flickering, the other 2 (which are on the same line) are fine. They are getting their feed from the HDMI port. Any suggestions?

 

How to send image to projector?

Hi Steven,

The first step: check if an HDMI cable is connected and plugged properly. Then press the Windows key + P, and then select one of these options to configure multiple screen display:

PC screen only. In this case you'll see everything on your PC. If you use a wireless projector, this option changes to Disconnect.

Duplicate. You’ll see the same images on both screens.

Extend. You'll be able to extend your image across two screens.

Second screen only. The image will be shown on the connected (second) screen. The first screen will be blank.

To send an image to the projector you need Miracast. Check please if your PC and the projector support this program. Press the Windows key + P, choose Connect to a wireless display, select a projector.

If the issue persists, check if your projector is functioning properly. Connect it to another device with Windows 10. If these steps don’t work, get in touch with your projector manufacturer.

Microsoft Display Adapter to 2 projectors

Hi. Here's what I'm trying to achieve:

Connect to a Microsoft Display Adapter from my Surface to a projector and send the same display to a 2nd projector.

I've tried hooking the Adapter to an HDMI Splitter instead of the projector, but then I see the adapter anymore to connect to.
