Windows 10: Promised storage 512GB actual storage 475GB what to do ?

hi ya'll i bought a laptop named Acer nitro 5 an515 on the box that the laptop came in it said that it contained 512 gbs of internal storage but when i opened the laptop for the first time and checked the storage it was only 475 gbs the ssd that came with this laptop is a samsung Disk 0 C: NVMe SAMSUNG MZVL2512HCJQ-00B07 and i also dont have any other storage installedis the a scam or is it just like tat

Storage showing as double the actual SSD size

Running Windows 10 Home 20H2 (Build 19042.964) on an AMD based Windows Surface Laptop 4 with 512GB SSD.

Even though it has a 512GB SDD as confirmed by both disk management and file explorer, settings -> system -> Storage reports the size as 951GB! I have searched but struggling to discover how to get it to report the real size.

Per the image below it shows

• 553GB used - bigger than the size of the SDD
  519GB in system & reserved

System and reserved breaks down per this screenshot




Have tried various options including disk cleanup, SFC and DSIM to get it to report the correct size but to no avail. Any suggestions on how to correct this much appreciated?

Have just performed a clean install including wiping the drive. Sadly no change.

Storage lost

Hi, I have Ssd of 512 GB It come with 475gb inbuilt After partition of my drive into 200, 150, 125=475.

I counted all the storage and it showing 473 GB only

i lost neary 2GB of storage Why it is heppend and how can I recover it.
