Windows 10: Prompt boxes are being rapidly scrolled through after plugging in controller.

After I plug in my controller to my windows 10 computer to play a game with it, when I go to navigate my windows key menu or my xbox game bar menu all the prompts boxes are being scrolled through rapidly. Its as if you were to spam tab at an insanely fast rate. It is stopping me from being able to even use my menus because I can't click anything because of how fast it is scrolling through things. It doesn't stop after unplugging controller but only starts once my controller has been plugged in after a restart of my computer.

Help! Lost control, selections & scrolling rapidly changing

Hard to sum up in a single sentence subject. Typing and possibly mouse clicks occurring automatically. Asmost all apps affected. Couldn't use my usual Waterfox or Firefox to send this so I'm doing so in Chrome, which so far seems OK. (Hope I can Send this!)

For example:
Win10 Run box rapidly displaying all entries in the drop-down box

Excel: When freshly opened, all columns are being rapidly selected

Cannot scroll (in here too)

Most other apps behaving in similar wild fashion.

Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options > Motion (where I went looking for clues) immediately takes speed to extreme right and will not let me change it

Windows Security reports no action necessary.

Malaware scan found nothing.

Restarted PC, still the same.

 

X Box controller scrolls to the right on the dashboard

New X box White. Bought on Dec. 30.2016 Controller started scrolling to the right about a week after purchase. Bought another controller from another store, after about 2 weeks its doing the same thing. Tried suggestions for fix, that was posted here,
to no avail. Please help

 

Cheap Photo box that will get the job done

WEll i took on this project for PP hes a hardware reviewer and wants to get the professional looking pics for the Pc parts

Materials:

• Big cardboard box

• a razor

• white material 3 yards

• cone lights

• stapler

• medical tape

• pvc pipe about 6 inches longer than your box

• white paint any cheap finger paint would work

the project I'm guessing will cost me $30 if it works out properly
I will post pictures and step by step as i do it
