Windows 10: Protect cookies from being deleted ?

This question has been asked several times but as yet no-one has specifically answered - IS IT POSSIBLE ?All responses to date have essentially been explanations of what they are, but like other enquirors I would like to run clean-up on my private personal pc without having to run through multiple security regimes after every clean-up. Cookie deletions affects numerous "needed" sites for me and numerous other enquirors, reading through. It would be useful to give each needed cookie file the "do not delete" attribute i.e. protection - then up to us the users to clean up any outdated ones

To locate tools in Windows 10, right-click the Windows icon/Start button. A pop-up menu will display with a variety of administrative tools, as well as shutdown options and a desktop link for quickly viewing the desktop;

Cookie Deletion in Edge via JavaScript Not Working Correctly

I would suggest you to try the below steps and see if the issue persist.

Open Edge browser and click on the three dots on the top right corner

Go to settings and click on View Advanced settings under
cookies select don’t block cookies.

If the issue persist run sfc scan.

Use the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) to replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

• Open an elevated command prompt.
• Type the following command, and then press ENTER:
  sfc /scannow (yes there is a space after sfc) The
  sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions. This scan make take a while to complete
