Windows 10: protected folder issues with windows system executables

Frequently, Windows system executables show in an exception by the protected folder security process. Why?

What is Protected Folder for Ranaware?

For windows 10, under Windows security > Ranaware protection > Control Folder for access, if I add a filepath into this lists, I would like to know on how windows can protect files within given specific folder.

I get a script folder, such as F:\script, which contain executed files, and Anti-virus may trigger a false alarm and delete those files, if I add F:\script filepath into above control folder lists, would those executed file be deleted by Anti-virus under
this situation?

Furthermore, I get some setting files, that should be protected for edited as well, can the feature of control folder protect those files as well?

Does anyone have any suggestions?
