Windows 10: Protection History for Controlled folder access is empty.

As described in the subject the protection history of the controlled folder access is blank when I look to see recent entries.I have had notifications appear that state that recent apps have been blocked access, but when I click on the notification it takes me to an empty page.

Controlled Folder Access is off. Shouldn't this be on?

Protection History and Controlled Folder Access NOT showing recent activity

Hi,

Like many I have Windows Defender active and working alongside Malwarebytes as my antivirus and antimalware protection.

Quite frequently I get popups telling me things like iCloud or other apps have been blocked from Controlled Folder Access. All normal so far.

However, when I go into Protection History on Windows Security I am met with Apps that were blocked in early November 2021 and prior to that date and nothing since.

When I go to "Manage Controlled Folder Access" and the "Allow an App through controlled folder access" and try and find the "recently blocked apps", again it gives me only a list of apps blocked from the beginning of November 2021 and nothing since.

This happened under Windows 10 and is still happening under Windows 11.

Do you have any ideas for why and how to fix it? Googling and Bing searching for the answer has so far drawn a blank.
