    I have an issue with a particular program, it has two different locations and an asmuwrapper.exe file with a user access control lock on it, so when users print from this application, it prompts for an AD account login. the work-a-around has to be replaced this file with one that is unlocked, however when we do our updates somehow that file is getting locked again. there are two locations: C:\filename and C:\programfiles86\FilenameAccording to the product owner the file with the user access control Admin Locked file is the correct file that needs to be used and the fix for this is to pro

    I Would like to know if there are any options to grant admin rights for certain apps to standard users.

    such as update and reinstall rights. only to specific applications.

    I have a simple goal, create a local account and limit its rights:

    1. Hide & Secure certain folders/partitions.
    2. Limit access to certain apps.

    For restricting App access, I've only found some tutorials based on editing the registries. Is this the way to go?

    Can't access certain websites in Win10

    I appreciate your efforts and time.

    • As I understand you are unable to access certain websites, what websites are you not able to access?
    • Have you logged in with a Microsoft account or a local account?
    I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

    • Network troubleshooter. Either search for it in the Search or run it by following the link below.

    • Try a different network adapter/connection type if possible.
    • Check for Windows Updates.
    • Check for drivers for the network adapter.
    • Open a CMD window as Administrator:
      • dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
      • sfc /scannow
      • netsh winsock reset
    Also try to restart the DNS service.

    • Press Windows Logo Key+X. Click on Run.
    • Type services.msc. Click on Ok.
    • Then find DNS client. Right-click on it to Stop it and Restart it.
