    Proxy setup script won't save

    My school uses an automatic proxy script (.pac file) to configure LAN access. This process has worked for my previous computers on various versions of Windows (most recently Win8) and still works for other coworkers. However, when I try to configure the
    proxy setup through either Settings/Network & Internet/Proxy or Internet Properties/LAN Settings, the location of the .pac file will not save. After hitting Save or OK and navigating back, all settings have reverted. What should I try next?

    Automatic Configuration Script Proxy

    Guys,

    At my work, we have several C2D computers that run 24*7 without doing much work. I want to set them up to fold. But our company uses automatic configuration script or pac file proxy configuration to connect to the internet and intranet. Appreciate it if you guys could share any ideas on how to setup these pcs to fold.

    Proxy setup script not saving

    Microsoft Automatic Proxy Setup, Can't disable "use setup script" setting and script address bar cant be cleared

    With this enabled i cant play games or do much really without it being slowed down because it is messing with my internet connection. There is the use setup script option in the proxy settings of internet and network settings and the script address bar
    cant be cleared or disabled, please help.
