    I have a new computer. dell 5401. and PrtSC not work.

    it is working on old compter.


    i try win+PrtSc , is working.

    i try https://keyboardtester.co/keyboard-tester.html, and prtSc is working

    i use a tool named mjciaatyf, show all hotkey on my pc.

    no program use snapshot. Explorer use snatshot on my old pc.


    my windows version: windows10 LTSC 1809, 17763.1432


    please help me .

    PrtSc not working.

    Hi Jericho,

    Thank you for your advice.

    After running an sfc scan and a DISM cleanup the PrtSc started working but in a combination with the Windows key.

    Earlier, my PrtSc used to work individually without any combination.

    The point is it has started working and your advice fixed other errors I was facing.

    However, I am marking lacrumb's reply as the answer because that would be helpful for the people
    who would visit this thread in the future. ( I started the scan without trying that combination, if the people who visit this thread in the future have their luck then they wouldn't have to start the scan).

    I still appreciate your efforts and a big thanks to you!

    PrtSc not working.

    Use the Windows key with the PrtSc key and it goes to Pictures, Screenshots.

    So my PrtSc key was working all fine and then it stopped working. I tried using it with a combination of Alt and Fn key, but nothing happens. I have to use the Snipping tool but that takes a lot of time to load and save the snip. Please help me with this,
