Windows 10: PS/2 keyboard with usb adapter not working on win 11

I recently bought a PS/2 keyboard at my local used hardware store.It's an ACER SK-9611looks brand newi bought from amazon a PS/2 to usb adapter and it arrived todaytried to plug it in, at first the caps lock and block num LEDs light up for a split second, only to turn off immediately after.the keyboard doesn't seem to output anything when typing.in device manager there is a warning sign, the device isn't recognized error code 0000002bi tried other troubleshooting guides like this: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/unknown-device-code-43-value-0000002b/a0c64df7-301a-4ac4-9

PS/2 to USB converter not working

The only thing I can suggest is to reboot the machine with the keyboard plugged in...

I have had mixed results when attempting to use a PS\2 to USB adapter...

Some work perfect, some don't work at all, and others somewhere in between...

Some of them will work for a mouse, but not a keyboard, and others just the opposite...

This. Make sure the USB to PS2 adapter is an active one. Very few modern keyboards support PS2 via passive adapters.

Its a good idea, I did try with the PS/2 to USB adapter... Both Keyboard and Mouse seem to power up, but they DINT WORK.... I tried a microsoft PS2 keyboard and mouse with the same adapter you have quoted....
