Windows 10: Ps2 Mouse not found

Bonjour, J'ai un problème avec mon ordinateur fixe. Depuis quelques temps, un message d'erreur s'affiche lorsque je l'allume : PS2 Mouse not found Unknown BIOS Error. Error code = 8BOCCMOS Setting WrongCMOS Date/Time Not SrtPress F1 to Run SETUPPress F2 to load défaut values and continueLe souci est que je ne peux même pas faire F1 ou F2 car mon clavier ne fonctionne pas non plus. J'ai tenté de connecter un clavier et une souris sans fil mais ça ne marche pas. Pouvez-vous m'aider ? Merci d'avance.

I see on my PC, the PS2 Mouse isn't working, which I would expect, as I removed this mouse and went to a Microsoft Wireless 5000. Should I remove anything to do with the PS2 Mouse? The PS2 doesn't show up on my list of hardware, but apparently there's
something still floating around to do with the PS2 Mouse. Possibly a Driver still installed, if so, should I delete it and how to delete it? I only ask, as at times, my Mouse Pointer goes a little wonky, especially when I'm Online. It kind of shakes and
doesn't remain still...if that makes for a good description about what's happening?

Thanks for any help in resolving this Mouse issue.

Ps2 mouse is not recognized by windows 10

My name is Mohammed Shuaib, an Independent Advisor and I'm here to assist you with the issues of the PS2 mouse not detecting. Please follow the below to fix the issue.

Fix #1:Before following the below make sure the PS2 mouse is connected.

Step 1:

Go to search box next to Windows icon and type CMD

Step 2:

Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator

Step 3:

Type msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic and press enter.

Step 4:

Click Next on the Hardware troubleshooter wizard.

Step 5:

Restart PC

Let me know the status after performing the above.

Ps2 mouse is not working

Hello! I am facing a problem with my ps2 mouse.

I generally using my ps2 mouse since 7-8 years.I recently upgraded my windows 7 to windows 10 in 2020.

After upgrading the system , I can able to use my ps2 mouse on that.I am bored with my ps2 mouse and purchased a new usb mouse and just working with it from 2-3 months.

But I wanted to use both usb and ps2 mouse on single pc to do many stuff by using two mouse.After plugging the both mouses on single system,my ps2 mouse not working and even not detected in device manager.But when I purchased usb mouse, both are working.I
don't know why after 2-3 months my ps2 mouse is not working.I saw many tutorials on YouTube to solve my problem.Only thing i got there is to change i8042prt.sys start value from 3 to 0 in regedit. I never tried it because, I feared about the BSOD(blue screen
of death) issue.I wanted to know that by changing registry value will not arise the BSOD error and tell me that this will harm my system and will it work or not.

I also searched about the i8042prt.sys.I got that when we make a replacement of ps2 mouse with usb it generally forcibly disable the i8042prt driver.I don't know this is true or not but tell me is it true or not.

Please resolve my problem.
